We Remember

WE REMEMBER

We would like to dedicate a portion of this website to a very special man, Thomas Day, also known as "Tom the Bomb". Tom is my father, and one of Michael’s best friends. He was at the closing when we purchased our first home in December of 1990. While we were signing our lives away on a 30-year mortgage, Tom’s mind was racing with his “punch list” of repairs and improvements to our new home. From replacing windows and woodwork in the bedrooms, to building a deck in the back, he was Michael’s right-hand man. He would have LOVED to have been there to help us get Giuseppi’s ready for our October 2, 2003 grand opening. 

Now we’ve moved onto a bigger endeavor and Dad would have been ecstatic to create a punch list and help us get The Paddock off the ground.  Unfortunately, he was called to serve a higher purpose. In January of 2003, Tom became Our Guardian Angel. After a long battle with his health, he passed away at the young age of 67.  Since his passing, he has used his heavenly connections to help us climb the steep hills and to coast with us when we're on level ground.  We know he is standing proudly beside us creating that punch list.  He is with us ALWAYS.
